Abstract
With the help of Giorgio Agamben's theory about zones of indistinction and the homo sacer, this thesis answers the question: To what extent does the asylum seeker centre in Utrecht symbolise Giorgio Agemben’s notion of a zone of indistinction and how does this affect the people living there?
