Abstract
This research investigates the use of breathing pattern prediction models using speech audio, aiming to enhance non-invasive health monitoring and provide a foundation for further model development. The study offers a comprehensive overview of current state-of-the-art models that predict continuous breathing patterns from speech audio by recreating and improving upon existing models, specifically the 1DCNN, and proposing four new models.
