Abstract

A gendered comparison between Philip Dick’s Eye In The Sky and Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s Herland. Differences can be seen in both books when looking at the moment of publication and what social situations influenced the books. More importantly, which changes can be seen to have taken place in the perception of gender and the progress that can be seen in the general perception of gender and women in society.
