Abstract
Abstract— The majority of enterprises struggle to produce application landscape documentation of adequate quality. Based on a literature study, 18 interviews and a case study this paper proposes a documentation approach based on low-code automation and interactive visualizations aimed at improving this documentation. The approach first addresses the problem of technological variability faced by automated documentation approaches and secondly the problem of inconvenient information consumption of large static documentation. Although initial responses have been positive, future research has to be conducted to empirically determine if the proposed approach is an improvement over a traditional documentation approach.
