E_n Operads and the Deligne Conjecture

Abstract

Originally motivated by the study of loop spaces, so called E_n operads and their algebras play an important role in algebraic topology. In the thesis, I will compare different models of such operads and relate them to each other, with the goal to construct an action of one of them on the Hochschild cochains - which is the subject of the Deligne conjecture.
