Abstract
This thesis is on infinite Galois theory. It covers infinite field extensions and their Galois groups. It also covers the construction of infinite Galois groups and how they relate to finite field extensions. The Galois correspondence for finite extensions is also restored by considering closed subgroups of the Galois group of an infinite field extension.
