Abstract

Scholars and journalists often associate the Rambo franchise with neo-conservatism, even though Sylvester Stallone, the main writer and star in the films, calls the character of Rambo “politically agnostic.” This dissertation explores the possible connection between Rambo and neo-conservatism, as defined by Francis Fukuyama.
