A Stylistic Study of Australian Indigenous Literature-An Anthropological Approach

Abstract

This thesis aims to discuss how certain linguistic,stylisic features are applied in Aboriginal literature, by examining three Aboriginal Australian narratives from different genres. It is discussed how cultural aspects of Aboriginal identity and culture are reflected in specific linguistic language use, and vice versa. Moreover, this thesis observes how stylistic features are applied/or reflect aspects of Aboriginal culture.
