Abstract

Geert Wilders is a Dutch politician who has made numerous controversial statements about minorities in The Netherlands. In this research, I address the question whether these statements ought to be allowed or ought to be restricted. After analyzing philosophical and historical considerations about free speech, I conclude by arguing that the philosophical principles regulating free speech have been breached.
