Het Verhaal van Gebed: een onderzoek naar gebed en baptistenidentiteit

Abstract

This master thesis investigates the relation between the narrative of prayer (as contributor to the communal hermeneutic conviction) in two Baptist churches (one "low" church and one "high" church) in the Netherlands and Baptist identity, by doing liturgical study (theology of worship). It has been found that each Baptist church has it own narrative of prayer and that each church contributes in its own way to Baptist identity.
